Good day to everyone and I’m sorry if I’m jumping from one thought to the next! It has been an interesting week! Or weeks? I will talk about my writing and the break down of my social media! If that dose not interest you, Thank You for coming by! 😸
First thing! I know I don’t have many that follow at this time and I’m alright by that! It takes time to get to know how to go about blogging and getting others to come check it out! For the few that do read this, Thank You!! I would like to get to know you! Drop a comment and say were you are from and what is your favourite colour! I live in Manitoba, Canada and I love Emerald Green!!
Now that I find myself with a bit more time, like everyone else, I can get a few WIP’s done!! That is for my crochet, house renovations, and writing!!
With that being said, I have an announcement! I have finished my rough draft of “The Planet with No Name”! It will be called “Aerlglo” from now on! A smaller name and I hope it’s easy to remember. I have started to edit it and then I will need another person to check it out!
There are thirteen parts to the story and I will re-release one part a week! I hope to edit most of it but please forgive me if I miss anything! Drop a comment on any of the blogs about how you feel about the story, suggestions, or missed editing! I’m pretty easy going about most criticism.
It’s a short story compared to the books I have on my shelves from amazing authors! If you know of anyone that can give me some tips on my writing, please let me know!! I’m up for learning new things! I also understand that time is money, so please don’t think I’m looking for a freebie!
Going back to the criticism. I find that social media is a bit down and not very happy. I’m on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and I have jumped from one to the other looking for happy news!! I have it set up differently for each app. Let me explain!
Twitter is mostly for who those that write. I have seen beautiful art or photos and cute animals! Talk about music and different poles on things! I currently follow 106 and have 102 followers myself. That seems to matter to some people like the “popular group” in school. I look at the numbers to see if there is a big difference in following and followers and then I look at WHAT they are posting before I follow someone. I don’t follow because of numbers alone!
Facebook is mostly filled with crochet projects, the weird but amazing second hand finds, and beautiful art. Some art is weird and a bit scary but I find it amazing! I’m alright when it comes to drawing for children for fun, like my own, but not like some amazing artists!! Facebook is also to keep in touch for family and friends! Needed more at this time so we don’t go crazy!!
Instagram comes in third to see the amazing pictures and a bit of happy news. I find that by the time I get to Instagram, I have been on the Internet for an hour! I rush by and then get off to stop my kids from arguing or get their chores done! I go back if I have time later and see how everyone is doing. It’s great to see some magna updates too!
Do you find that you prefer one social media over another? Let me know! I will reply ASAP!! Take care and keep smiling!
